Rhubarb and Strawberry Fruit Spread: A Nostalgic Seasonal Treat
I made this one mostly for myself, I just adore rhubarb. It reminds me of childhood days harvesting giant stalks from my grandmother’s garden and using the big leaves as umbrellas.

This small-batch seasonal spread combines the best of local produce, a few kilos of rescued rhubarb from Toowoomba and sweet, imperfect Sunshine Coast strawberries.

Enjoy it on warm toast, spooned over yogurt, or tucked into a pastry for a taste that feels like home.
