Our most unique and very popular Nectarine Turmeric Spread is made with fresh, organically grown turmeric off-cuts and unloved Nectarines.
Less than 5 minutes from our production kitchen is an organic turmeric and ginger farm where farmer Jessie is always happy to supply us with broken off turmeric pieces. The turmeric pieces mingle perfectly with imperfect and surplus Nectarines to create this versatile, sweet spread.
While it may sound odd at first, the combination of turmeric – a root spice of the ginger family – with sweet and ripe nectarines creates a mouth experience that is sweet on the tongue and earthy to the nose. This is a perfect spread option for those who prefer a slightly less sweet flavour.
